Tammy Wynette's signature hit, "Stand by Your Man," has been remixed as a dance track to coincide with the 70th anniversary of her birth. The radio and club versions, the first-ever remixes of the song, were created by Dave Aude and released to digital retailers on Friday (June 15). The remixes are the first major chart contenders by Wynette since 1991, when British rave sensations the KLF invited her to sing on their left-field pop hit "Justified and Ancient (Stand by the JAMs)." That track reached No. 2 on the Billboard dance charts, No. 11 on the Hot 100 and went to No. 1 in 18 countries. Wynette was born May 5, 1942, and died in 1998.
