"They tell you about this feeling that is beyond comparison ... and the moment Kacey and I laid our eyes on little Kline we understood it's absolutely the coolest thing ever!" That's what Eli Young Band lead vocalist Mike Eli told People magazine about welcoming his first little girl to the world on Monday (July 30). So the "little Kline" he's referring to is the 6-pound, 15-ounce Kline Olivia Diaz. I have to think that since the Eli Young Band is out on the road with Rascal Flatts and Little Big Town for a while, Eli is bound to get all kinds of parenting advice (and maybe even have some songwriting epiphanies) from all those moms and dads in the two bands. And once Kline is ready, she can join her road brothers and sisters Brittany, Brooklyn, Madeline Leigh, Dylan Jay, Jagger Donovan, Raquel Blue, Elijah Dylan, Daisy Pearl and Penelopi Jane. Congrats to Eli and his wife Kacey on their coolest thing ever.
